November 7, 2023 Hoffmann Hillermann Newsletter

Hello Friends,

Happy Veterans Day this Saturday, November 11th! Thank you to all our Veterans for your service to our country. Freedom isn’t free, and we are grateful to all those who have served.

Our area continues to be low on rainfall. Click here for the US Drought Monitor map of Missouri. According to the map, most of our area is still in Moderate Drought conditions, and it shows Severe Drought conditions for the southwestern area of Franklin County. Be sure to water outdoor plants when you can through fall and winter, especially new plantings and evergreen plants. Plants need to receive enough water so they will not be too stressed when winter arrives. Additionally, moisture in the soil helps insulate and protect the plant’s roots through freezing temperatures.

Our EGO Equipment Rep will be here this Wednesday from 8:00 to 11:00. You can stop by to talk with him and demo EGO Battery Powered equipment. New and current units will be available. Stop by and see how powerful EGO units are. If you can’t make it to this event, stop by anytime to talk to Doug or Bill about lawn and garden equipment sales, parts and service.

Displays with Christmas trees and decorations are starting to go up in the Garden Center! They are beautiful! Our Garden Center will become a sparkling wonderland as more displays go up in time for our Holiday Open House. Visit us during our Holiday Open House on November 18 and 19 to see all the beautiful displays that will include a lot of holiday sparkle and twinkling lights!
