Irrigation Technician

Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems. Operate power equipment and hand tools needed to perform duties of position. Check systems for proper operation and timing. May participate in the design or modification of new or existing systems. Perform seasonal maintenance such as system charging and draining. Maintain inventory of related parts and supplies. May lead workers on irrigation projects and work on other grounds related assignments as needed.

Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of tools, equipment, techniques, materials, and methods of irrigation system design, installation, and maintenance. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and drawings. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to operate equipment such as trenching machines, digging tools and other related grounds/landscape equipment. Good reading, writing and math skills needed. Able to lead and direct the work of others. Able to work in safe and efficient manner.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license. Two years irrigation installation and maintenance experience. Must be able to handle physical demands of position on body including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. multiple times per shift.

Working Conditions: Spends most time outdoors, often exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures for long periods. Possible exposure to distraction/uncomfortable noise levels and vibration of body or extremities. Risk of bodily injury from mechanical parts, etc. Possible exposure to fumes, odors, etc. that may affect respiration and skin.

Equipment and parts sales position for our lawn and garden equipment center. Experience in parts, parts research and order entry preferred. Customer service and computer skills required. Landscape & Lawn Maintenance

Full-time position that includes mowing grass, trimming shrubs, weeding/landscape bed clean up, applying lawn program and weed control products, spreading mulch and more. Must be 18 or older, have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a chauffeur's license. Requires extended outdoor work in hot or cold weather and lifting up to 50 lbs. repeatedly. Knowledge of mowing and maintenance equipment and lawn program products helpful but not a requirement. Wages based on experience. Landscape Installers/Crew Leaders

Full time position. Must be 18 or older, and posses a valid Missouri driver's license and able to obtain a chauffeur's license. Able to work outside for extended periods of time in hot or cold weather. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout a shift. Must understand the importance of quality workmanship. Must be able to work directly with Landscape Foreman as well as Landscape Designers in implementing plans and blueprints for commercial and residential projects. Crew Leaders must be able to provide leadership for 1-5 laborers at a given time. Must be able to operate several types of landscape related equipment. Must be knowledgeable in most current landscape practices. Experience preferred for Landscape Laborers. 3-5 Years experience preferred for Landscape Crew Leaders. Must be dependable. Small Engine Repair Technician

To perform repairs on 2 and 4 cycle equipment including lawn mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, etc. 1-2 years of experience required. STIHL certification a plus. Must be organized with excellent communication skills, and a dedicated team player who can provide expert service to customers. Time management skills and the ability to follow directions, use the computer and give accurate estimates is required. Willing to work flexible days. Responsibilities:

• Provide customers with product and service information
• Identify, research, and resolve customer issues
• Build long-term relationships with customers
• Reply promptly to all customer inquiries via email or phone
• Process customer orders promptly and efficiently
• Manage customer accounts
Requirements:
• Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly Excel and Word 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Secretarial and customer service skills
• A strong team player with a commitment to company values
• Horticulture experience is a plus
• 24-28 hours per week - approximately 1000 hours per year


Landscape Secretary (Full at this time)

Responsibilities:
• Answer phones and respond to customer requests
• Proficient use of Microsoft office, particularly Excel and Word 
• Provide customers with product and service information
• Secretarial and Customer Service Skills
• Identify, research, and resolve customer issues
• Research billing errors and correct as needed
Requirements:
• Horticulture experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Successfully and professionally handles customer complaints
• Builds long-term relationships with customers
• Empathizes with the customer during difficult situations
• Replies promptly to all inquiries of customers via email
• Processes customer orders promptly and efficiently

Landscape Designer (Full at this time)

3-5 years minimum experience. Must be able work with clients to determine their needs. Must be able to read blueprints as well as create them in 2-D renderings or CAD. Must have knowledge of hardscape product and installation techniques. Must have regional plant knowledge. Must posses leadership skills for directing multiple 2-3 man crews simultaneously as well as working with clients to ensure a professional, finished project. Must have knowledge in landscape layout for functionality as well as aesthetics. Must be able to work a flexible schedule during periods of increased customer volume, manage time properly, keep detailed records, and be professional in appearance. Should have a basic understanding of exterior lighting, water features, irrigation and outdoor living spaces. Pay will commensurate with experience.
